One year,   two drops fell on the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. Usually they retract and evaporate as quickly as they fell. But not this year. 

They have taken up residence on the stone. 

The guards were lucky, these pearls are hollow from the silhouette of the ramparts. 

Unfortunately, here the sun is always right. 

They will eventually dissipate and disappear.
